Set up the shift schedule
The Shift schedule describes which shifts the plant runs (12- or 8-hour), with their labels and time windows. The diary uses this: an opened diary is tied to the right shift, and the timing of closing also follows the shift’s end.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Permission: the shift-schedule right — tenant_role:manage.
- Where to find it: the Shift schedule tab in the management area.

- Open the Shift schedule tab.
- Pick a best-practice preset to start — 12-hour (2 shifts) or 8-hour (3 shifts).
- Adjust the labels and times in each shift’s row (e.g. Morning · 06:00–14:00).
- Use the Active checkbox to enable the shifts you use.
- Click Save on the row.
If it worked
Section titled “If it worked”The active shifts appear in the diary with the label and time window you set; the system knows from the time which shift’s diary is currently live.
