Manage sites and plants

You manage your organisation’s plants (and, with multiple sites, the sites) here. With multiple plants, each gets its own diary elements, live and archive log, and writer permissions, and you can switch between them in the diary’s top bar.

  • Permission: the plant-management right — tenant_role:manage (for sites, site:manage).
  • Where to find it: the Plants tab (and, with multiple sites, the Sites tab) in the management area.
Adding a new plant: the new plant name field (e.g. Phosgene) and the Add plant button.
Adding a new plant. Each plant gets its own log and diary elements; you switch between them in the diary’s top bar.
  1. Open the Plants tab.
  2. Type the new plant name (e.g. Phosgene) and click Add plant.
  3. Reorder the plants by dragging (this order shows in the diary’s top bar), or rename / archive an existing one.

The new plant appears in the diary’s top bar, with its own log and diary elements. The colleagues assigned to it (in the Roster) and access are governed through the roles.
