Managing shared lists
On the Lists tab you maintain shared value lists — e.g. operating modes, device status, priority. You edit a list in one place, together with the values it contains.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Permission: the diary-structure right — layout:manage (or full tenant admin).
- Where to find it: the Lists tab in the management area.
Create a new list
Section titled “Create a new list”- Enter the list name in the top field (e.g. Operating modes).
- Click New list.
Load preset lists
Section titled “Load preset lists”The Load preset lists button loads common industrial lists (operating modes, device status, priority…) at once. It does not duplicate existing ones, so it is safe to press again.
Edit a list
Section titled “Edit a list”Each list has its own card:
- Add Items: enter the value (e.g. Normal operation), then Add item.
- Remove an item with remove.
- The list can be renamed on the card (Rename); save changes with Save.
Common problems
Section titled “Common problems”| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No “Lists” tab | You do not have the layout:manage (or full admin) right. |
Ask your admin. |
| The preset button added nothing | The preset lists already exist. | This is intentional — existing ones are not duplicated. |
| The list does not appear in a dropdown | Wiring into dropdowns is still under development. | Today the tab is the list manager; wiring into diary fields comes later. |
