Why is it reliable?

The articles are written by János Mészáros, a chartered chemical engineer who spent more than ten years in the process industry as a plant manager and process engineer. Every article is source-faithful: concepts come from professional material and published literature, with no invented data, and each begins with a separate citable definition so it can be referenced precisely.

Who is this knowledge base for?

Primarily for shop-floor and plant professionals in the process industry (chemicals, refining, energy, steel): shift and plant managers, process engineers and technologists, Lean/CI practitioners, and people working in quality and defect prevention. The articles focus on practice: what a concept actually means on a real shift, in a real plant.

Who writes the articles?

János Mészáros, a chartered chemical engineer who spent more than ten years in the process industry as a plant manager and process engineer. Every article carries an author box, and the articles are source-faithful: concepts come from professional material and published literature, with no invented data.

How do I cite an article?

Every article opens with a separate citable definition, precisely so it can be referenced. Use the article title, the author name and the article URL; the definition block can be quoted verbatim.

Why are some chapters not available yet?

Because we publish on an allowlist basis: an article reaches the web only if it is intended for the web AND human review has approved it. We would rather withhold something than publish it half-finished. The chapter grid always reflects the real, current state.

How does the knowledge base relate to the OPEREX software?

The knowledge base is the professional background; OPEREX is the software where these practices become daily operation: a structured shift log, incident investigation and maintenance, with an auditable trail. You do not need to use OPEREX to read the knowledge base.
